Strength Behaviour of Sugarcane Bagasse Ash Treated Sewage Sludge-Soil Mixture

Abstract Laboratory tests were conducted on sugarcane bagasse ash treated sewage sludge-soil mixture with 5%, 10% and 30% to assess its strength behaviour. Unconfined compressive (UCS) was performed observed influence of content (BAC), curing time, water value UCS axial strain. Soil sample prepared using standard proctor at 60% optimum content. Results recorded reached peaked 20% BAC then dropped by 46% BAC. Axial strain increased for every additional Result shown period UCS, as time longer the also rose. Other findings this study affected maximum dry density (MDD), 5% improved MDD but would reduce UCS. Finally, it could be concluded get optimal improvement sludge-soil.
